Growing up as a child, all forms of creativity - filmmaking, singing, and acting - were not just central but essential to Laura Johansen's journey as an artist.

Earning a B.A. in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University, Laura found the value in creative collaboration both behind the scenes and in front, working together with colleagues to assemble great stories, as well as helping create memorable characters through acting. Most recently, Laura has studied voice over with renowned voice acting coaches James L. Alburger, Penny Abshire, and MJ Lallo.

Classically trained in singing during her years in college, Laura continued to hone her creative passions into a form of real and honest expressions - something that started from her youngest days as a choir cantor and soloist, to her time in her first band Second Generation, where she covered everything from Classic Rock, Soul, and MoTown, to classical Latin ballads and boleros such as "Sabor A Mi". Most recently, she was the lead singer for progressive rock band This Passenger and worked as a vocal artist specializing in studio session work.
